Leather Knife Rolls. Handmade in the USA.
We make the finest leather knife rolls available anywhere. Handcrafted from the best full grain leathers, the JAW Leather Goods Knife Roll is a piece of gear that will be by your side for years to come. Protecting your knives in style (not to mention thick leather) makes sense. Chefs invest hundreds or thousands of dollars on knives, then throw them in a crappy nylon roll. Not cool! Get those bad boys wrapped in leather as soon as possible.
When I started JAW Leather Goods in 2010, its success was due to the knife rolls. I originally made a knife roll for a friend who was a chef who was having trouble finding a leather knife roll, even online. At the time, I was making leather wallets and bags, and I was intrigued by the idea of the leather knife roll. I looked around online to see what was out there, and to my surprise, there was nothing. There was a few pics around here and there of ones that had been custom made, and one that was like a thousand dollars, but none that were easily acquired. So, I made the knife roll, and it was pretty similar to the rolls I still make today. Ive changed a few things over the years, but overall the idea was the same. After posting some pics online of the roll, I started getting emails inquiring about the roll, and I was off; making leather knife rolls for chefs all over the world.
Now, in the last 6 or 7 years that I have been doing this, a lot of other people have started making and selling leather knife rolls based on my designs, or their own. Things have changed in the world. I went through treatment for Hodgkin's Lymphoma from 2014 to 2016. I have moved, changed and grown in ways I never thought possible. The world is different than the simple one I lived in in 2010. But one thing hasn't changed; and that is the superior quality of the JAW Leather Knife Roll. Always made from start to finish by hand in my San Luis Obispo, California studio. The roll used by chefs in top kitchens all over the world, and the absolute best thing to protect your knives.
